Welcome to Education Today! I’m your host, Sohkor Solanke.
I spent 15 years in the secondary classroom teaching English, reading, and social studies. I've taught a wide range of students from those with disabilities, to English language learners, to advanced and gifted. I’ve also been on the other side as a parent of three children who have completed the formal schooling years of kindergarten through 12th grade and are now in the college and career stage.
Now I’m here to have conversations with teachers, administrators, and parents about all things education.
