This week, I finished my first semester as a substitute teacher and experienced the joys of teaching during the last week before Christmas break.
My week included bored 6th graders with idle hands; a fight between a boy and a girl in my classroom; lazy, apathetic high school students; a classroom management issue created by admin; and students who tried to bully me into getting their way.
