Title: The Goode Show with
Angie Dejarnette, Founder of The STEPS Foundation Empowering Special Ops
Spouses
This week on The Goode Show, I sit down with my good friend Angie Dejarnette, Founder of
The STEPS Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering spouses of Special
Operations Forces (SOF) as they navigate the challenging transition from
military to civilian life.
As a SOF spouse,
Angie saw firsthand the lack of resources available for spouses during this
life-changing period. That’s why she created the STEPS Foundation—to provide
holistic, personalized support for SOF families.
The STEPS program
is designed to guide SOF spouses through every aspect of the transition
journey, from mental health and identity renewal to financial readiness,
physical well-being, and employment opportunities. Angie and her team bring expertise,
compassion, and a much-needed dose of humor to help these incredible spouses
find their footing in a new chapter of life.
In this episode,
we discuss Angie’s journey, the mission behind the STEPS Foundation, and why
supporting the spouses of SOF veterans is crucial. We also discuss her personal
experience and the lessons she’s learned while helping others navigate their
own transitions.
