In this episode we talk about grief and the 'journey' of it which never really ends.
This one is an emotional episode as Katie shares so vulnerably and opens up about so many of her experiences from this last year since loosing her Mum, Sue.
We talk about things not to say to people who are grieving, things to say, tips for riding the waves and how to get through the 'Griefy days'. We also discuss how everyones experience will vary as grief is pretty personal to you, inviting you to deepen your connection to yourself as you face emotions and periods where you may be unable to express how you feel to others easily.
It is such a powerful conversation. Katie is really passionate about opening up this conversation because so many people find it hard to talk about. We hope that you are able to take something away from this episode that helps you personally or helps you to comfort others.
This podcast was recorded on Mothers Day and the flowers shown on our Graphic are Sue's favourites, chosen to honour her.
