My wife and I left the US in 2019 and have been on the road ever since. When I realized that nothing was keeping me in Southern California, and since it was so expensive, I decided I needed to see the world—before it was too late. For six weeks we traveled Spain and Portugal, all the while asking ourselves, “Can we do this?” Since leaving we have visited 27 countries and I wrote two books about Traveling the World Six Weeks at a Time, which is our targeted time per location.
