I grew up in a real estate family. My Mom was a real estate agent and my Dad was a real estate attorney. As I recall, they spent A LOT of time at industry networking events. This was most likely due to the fact the world was not as "connected" 🖥 📱 as it is today. Over the past 2 decades we've experienced so much innovation through technology it seems in our lives and business, we've gone WIDE instead of DEEP in how we develop relationships with each other.
Why is this important you ask? 🤷♂️ Well call me a traditionalist but I believe developing deep and authentic relationships with other professionals in our industry can help to elevate our industry overall in the eyes of our clients.
In order to do so, we need to create and develop relationships with no strings attached. By having the heart of a servant, we'll find more fulfillment in our lives.
