This is a tougher, more nuanced discussion, and both your hosts readily admit they do not know everything- or necessarily even enough- about this issue to have a confident take. We welcome your feedback and input and perspective so long as everyone does their best to lead with compassion and empathy.
We do have some other raucous discussions for you, including the state of the House race for a Speaker, and Ryan's vociferous defense of cyclists to Josh.
Recognizing that the current event cycle is a heavy one and that no everyone is looking to dive deeper into these topics, please note that our discussion of the Middle East occurs between 32:00 and 51:00. Though you are welcome to skip our discussion, we do encourage everyone to stay aware of these events and understand, as best they are able, the extremely complicated geopolitics, religious ideologies, and local history and culture that have lead to this moment. At your own pace, keeping your own mind and spirit as safe as possible.
