Today we look at the great importance of being a good witness. The apostles like children needed to be taught basics first so that they could mature into what God needed them to be. The apostle where privileged to see so many great things throughout the ministry of Jesus, and just the fact that Jesus’ miracles were not the first wonderful thing that God had done throughout history but they were the most wonderful it must have been a sight to see. First the apostles were taught the doctrine of the kingdom then they were shone the work of the kingdom through the ministry of Jesus. Jesus’ seemingly favorite form of teaching was in the form of parables which were earthy stories with spiritual application, taking something simple to understand and making it grand in nature. The apostles got to see and hear so many great things in Jesus, so much good done, and so much more than what is even recorded in our scriptures.Hearing and Seeing
