Description

In a circus you see lions, tigers and bears.

To borrow what may be the 2nd most famous line from the 1939 classic

'The Wizard of Oz”, Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

We see the ferocious roar of the lion as the lion tamer bravely stands

before him without fear. We are shown the height of the “World's Largest Bear”.

But, I never seen a commercial that said, “Come see the sheep!”.

Sheep are vulnerable to danger from wolves and other wild animals as

they cannot run very fast. They are not smart enough to avoid danger.

That is why they require a shepherd.

And David begins the 23rd Psalm with these 9 words, “The Lord is my

shepherd; I shall not want”.
