Memorial Day is not a religious holiday. It is, however, an American holiday. It is observed on the last
Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in
the U.S. military.
It’s easy to forget what Memorial Day actually means while we’re sitting
by the pool, deciding what we're going to grill and looking ahead at
summer vacation.
This Memorial Day, let's remember the price that was paid.
