Impostor Syndrome is also known as comparison syndrome - you think you're not qualified or you are a fraud.
I've dealt with this in so many ways in my own life. Here's some ways I've learned to overcome it:
- Share your feelings, you are not alone
- Shift from expecting perfection to celebrating your success
- Self compassion - acceptance of yourself and kindness to yourself, self talk
- Stay in the present moment - thinking of future causes fear
- Focus on service - take attention off yourself and moves to helping others
- Practice positive affirmations - change your belief systems, using the word AND
- You cannot be an impostor in your own story - instead of comparing yourself, shift to embracing
