GODLY PEOPLE ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM SUFFERING AND PERSECUTION IN THIS WICKED WORLD 🌍
2 Timothy 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 John 3:12-13
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 13Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
PERSECUTION DEVELOPS PATIENCE LIKE THAT OF THE PROPHETS OF OLD
Matthew 5:10-12
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
