THE DISCIPLE’S AIM IN LIFE SHOULD BE TO FIND THE CLOSEST SEAT TO JESUS‼️ NOT FOR THE SAKE OF ECCLESIASTICAL POWER, BUT WITH DESIRE OF NOT WANTING TO MISS OUT ON THE BLESSINGS THAT FLOW FROM HIM.

Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭38‬-‭42‬ ‭RSV‬‬

“Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.””

Luke 18:10-14

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted
