Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

TEMPERANCE OR SELF-CONTROL IS THE LAST OF THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT LISTED BY PAUL. HOWEVER IT IS NOT THE LEAST OF THEM FOR WITHOUT IT WE WILL NOT RECEIVE THE CROWN OF ETERNAL LIFE. WE CANNOT EAT ANYHOW, DRINK ANYHOW, LIVE ANYHOW AND EXPECT TO WIN THE RACE TO ETERNITY‼️

1 Corinthians 9:25
And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

1 Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

True temperance teaches us to dispense entirely with everything hurtful and to use judiciously that which is healthful. – {Last Day Events p. 81.2}

OVEREATING EVEN OF GOOD FOOD IS DETRIMENTAL TO THE HEALTH OF BODY AND SOUL

Ecclesiastes 10:17
Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! 

Proverbs 23:20-21
Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: 21For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Daniel‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭
“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

Daniel‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭
“Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.”

WE MUST ABSTAIN FROM WINE, TOBACCO, DRUGS AND EVERYTHING THAT DESTROYS HEALTH

Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
”Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,“

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

INTEMPERATE CHRISTIANS, PASTORS AND PROPHETS WILL NOT MAKE IT TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD

1 Corinthians 9:26-27
Therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beats the air: 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

NEVER ❌ SUCCUMB TO PEER PRESSURE TO BE INTEMPERATE! DARE TO STAND ALONE FOR THE RIGHT LIKE DANIEL
