In this episode, we (Alejo and his wife, Tara) discuss our sometimes turbulent relationship, our journey in Christ, our mistakes a long the way, our heartaches, and some of the hardest days in 13 years of knowing one another.
We believe every good thing in our relationship is the result of much wrestling and failing forward in Christ. From initially meeting in high school while dating other people, to hurt, to manipulation, to walking separate ways, and finally reuniting, we discuss some of the things most people haven't heard about our journey.
We hope that opening the door to our relationship is a source of hope and encouragement to some of you out there who might find yourselves in similar seasons of maturing towards blessed marriages.
We haven't had a perfect story, but we don't believe in human perfection, aside from Jesus. We believe that marriage can't be perfect, but it can be awesome.
