Nobody shows up in life to manage for us who we give the best of ourselves to. It is a daily choice. A daily decision that reflects what we value most. There are times when our ministry to our families has to be a sacrifice of joy that doesn’t come easy to our feelings, but is a leaning into Jesus in times when we are most spent. We feel this exhaustion today, but as we approach our homes and gear ourselves up to encounter our most important ministry, we delight in the opportunity to give the best of ourselves to those that matter most. Let’s be present. Let’s pursue our family’s hearts with passion and devotion.
