This is not a conversation about how spiritual leaders can do a better job. It’s also not a conversation about our own spiritual leadership. Call it confession and processing. Call it conviction.
The truth is that the world will always push us towards a calloused and jaded posture so that we become ineffective and dull. We have been there in different seasons of life, and we have understood that it’s important to continue to lean into the LORD in order to heal and grow from these difficult places.
Today we talk about how we have maybe built walls that are way too tall and have maybe placed ourselves in the driver seat for far too long.
