Sin turns us into beasts! Israel’s sin had consequences and it ruined their reputation. Israel was supposed to be an example of God to the nations. Instead, Israel showed that tough circumstances bring out those things that are truly inside of us. Thanks be to God, He is patient and gracious with us. He worked in unexpected ways with Israel and He continues to act in unexpected ways with us today.
