How can someone have the strength to stand up to any adversity? Only he that believes in Jesus and has learned to depend completely on Him. The Lord is the source of our energy, the power to keep us standing. He is the light that illuminates our lives so that nothing dark consumes us. He is the one who forgives us when we repent of all our wrongs. He is the one who encourages us when we are discouraged. He is the One who picks us up when we have fallen, the One who comforts us when we are grieved .
