If you’re going to come to the Lord’s Table you’re going to have to take it seriously. You cannot deal with the Lord’s Table superficially. You cannot deal with the Lord’s Table perfunctorily as if it’s just a routine. You have to come to the Lord’s Table very thoughtfully and in a worthy way; and what that means essentially is you’ve got to take a look at your life.
