As we take a break from our current series, "The Expected Saviour", Peter Cowie takes us through the intimacy of prayer.
Peter dives into Matthew chapter 6, and looks at how Jesus lead by example in prayer. He looks closely at the connection we have with Christ as Christians and how this is shown in the Lord's prayer. Peter then discusses what prayer should actually be for us, especially in the "busy" lives so many of us live today, as he looks at how the world today is focusing on mindfulness to centre themselves. As Peter closes his message, he looks at one of the "Prayers of David" in Psalm 86 and discusses the use of liturgy in the Church.
