Trout originally tore his meniscus on April 29th, and after rehab and a clean bill of health, he began his rehab assignment at Triple-A. Unfortunately, Trout exited after one plate appearance and two innings in center field due to discomfort in his left knee. The pain persisted, and an MRI a few days later revealed a second tear.
Dr. Grant Garcia joins us to shed light on the injury and what may have happened. We discuss the recovery process, potential complications, and risks for a player who has sustained multiple injuries in the last few years and is entering his 15th season. This episode is short and sweet.
