S2E39 - For the Glory KC is back with the 46th episode of the show and, finally, Sheena has returned to the podcast! We were overseas for two weeks and decided against another weird, "Chad only" episode and just delayed until we could both record.
On this week's episode, Sporting Kansas City get crushed and bounced out of the Leagues Cup by Toluca. We don't spend a ton of time on that, but instead focus on the "why" behind the elimination. Then, Sheena and I break down the rumored (massive) Alan Pulido contract and how we feel about the move.
We can't leave out our World Cup experience, the United States getting eliminated or the KC Current and their big win to advance in the NWSL Challenge Cup. There are some big questions about Vlatko Andonovski and if he'll end up as the coach of the Current after the dust settles.
Finally, we answer your mailbag questions! (We go a bit off the rails with our "nonsense" at the beginning since we had the vacation of our lives, timestamps below will let you skip if you are so inclined).
