Josh Jacobs (Site Expert at Redbird Rants) interviews one of the top prospects in the Cardinals' system, Victor Scott II. After being drafted in the 2022 MLB Draft, Scott II has already risen up to the Double-A level and represented the Cardinals in the 2023 Futures Game. Scott II is a plus-plus defender in center field but has really caught eyes with his plus-plus speed and base-stealing ability. At the time of recording, Scott II had 68 stolen bases between High-A and Double-A and has a goal of 100 stolen bases for the season.
Victor and Josh have a wide-ranging conversation, ranging from his exciting first year in the Cardinals' organization, his experience at the MLB Futures Game, his relationship with Cardinals' legend Vince Coleman, his development as a player, and of course, his base stealing ability.
