Plenty to compare to its perhaps more famous David Cronenberg directed remake from 1986 with Jeff Goldblum as this movie is tragic horror at its best as well as being as sharp a cultural commentary as you'd expect from a sci-fi movie in the 50s!! Price may not play the titular monster, but he brings his A game as ever!!
