To kick off Women’s History Month, our speaker today is a longtime friend, Calvert Collins Bratton, the Chief Relationship Officer at Communities Foundation of Texas. She is a 7th generation Texas, on the board of SMU’s Simmons School of Education and a member of Charter 100, The Dallas Assembly, The Dallas Summit, and is a Junior League of Dallas. A past recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award amongst other accolades.
Calvert is an unabashed believer of the power of communication and relationships. The discussion is very real as she talks about how communication and energy go hand in hand; being emotive, being energetic and being concise in turn makes others feel they matter, their voice matters and builds relationships. Calvert talks about why diversity of perspective matters for growth, innovation and how relationships can help garner those perspectives from people of different backgrounds, experiences, personalities.
Her beliefs:
Word of the year? Excitement
What does not go out of style? Curiosity!
What is Purpose? Being Action Oriented
Tune in to listen to a conversation with a woman leader who does not fear the women coming behind us, who believe in being your self and leading with action.
