What do rivers and hurdles have in common? They are both obstacles to our journey through life and -
- They can both stand between you and God's promises for you.
- They can both be humanly impossible to overcome.
- They both require a move of God to move through.
The Israelites faced the Red Sea as they left Egypt, a land of captivity. The Israelites faced the Jordan River as they gazed at the promised land. Both were hurdles, or rivers, that had to be conquered. They needed a move from God at this moment, but they also had to be obedient. What can we learn from hurdles, rivers, and our promised land? Join us today and walk through your rivers and jump your hurdles.
