Is your wineskin able to stretch, or has it become brittle and easily broken?
Jesus tells us that we cannot put new wine into old skins. We can quickly lose this meaning in translation, especially if we do not work with animal skins.
The key is that we cannot hold what God is doing in and through us today if we are holding on to the old nature rather than embracing the fullness of God.
An old wineskin can only hold new wine if we water down the wine!
The Father's heart is to cover us with His oil so that we continue to grow and be flexible for His glory. Are you ready to stretch?
