Rev. Mitchell Boone wraps up Advent by taking a look at the role John the Baptist plays in this narrative. John isn't often a character we pay much attention to during Advent, but his question, and even his disappointment, are welcome in this space of waiting and preparation. As Mitchell stated regarding the challenges of this year, "We may be disappointed in God, but God is not disappointed in us... God is eager to show up."
