B: um, I had an appendicectomy before. I think it was almost 5 years ago.
A: Ok, anywhere else?
B: No, that was the only surgery I ever had.
A: ok, perfect. So now, can you point where it hurts?
B: It’s right here. It’s my left low back.
A: hmm so it is called SI joint, where you are pointing. Any pain on the right side or the middle?
B: No it’s only on my left side.
A: Is the pain localized or spread over a general area?
B: It’s pretty localized, I’d say.
A: ok. What kind of pain is it?
B: It’s sharp pain, really sharp.
＜日本語訳＞
A: 今までに何らかの手術を受けたことがありますか？もし受けたことがあるとしたら、どんな手術でどこに行ったのですか？
B: えーと、以前に虫垂切除術を受けたことがあります。多分5年ほど前だったともいます。
A: なるほど。他にはありますか？
B: いいえ、それが今までに受けたことがある唯一の手術でした。
A: わかりました。では、どこが痛いか指で指していただけますか？
B: ちょうどここです。左の腰ですね。
A: あなたが指しているところは、仙腸関節と呼ばれるところなんです。右側や真ん中に痛みはありますか？
B: いいえ。左側だけですね。
A: 痛みは局所的ですか？それとも全域的に広がっていますか？
B: 結構局所的だと思います。
A: わかりました。どんな痛みですか？
B: 鋭い痛みです。とっても鋭いです。
受傷機転の聞き取りは問診の中でも一番大事な部分なので、問診で使えるフレーズを覚えたら、ぜひ次は聞き取りの練習をしてみてください！
