Our studio guest this week offers and important ‘coalface’ perspective into the community management of diabetes from a nurse educator’s perspective. We are joined by Sr Razana Allie, an insightful and passionate Diabetes Specialist Nurse, diabetes advocate and Private nurse practitioner.

• Her journey to specialising in diabetes after ‘getting bored’ working in intensive care and trauma

• Her memories of CDE Founder, Prof Larry Distiller and his desire to advance diabetes care in South Africa
