Our studio guest is Pitso Molemane, a radio personality, journalist and Diabetes Survivor, Warrior and Activist who has lived with type 1 diabetes for four decades. Pitso’s advocacy activities include an advocacy group, Fighting Diabetes (www.fightingdiabetes.co.za / info@fightingdiabetes.co.za), which he founded, penning a monthly diabetes awareness column in The Sowetan, and as a member of the International Diabetes Federation network of ‘Blue Circle Voices’.
