Jim Rogers is a renowned American investor, financial commentator, and author, best known for co-founding the Quantum Fund with George Soros in the 1970s. The fund gained an astonishing 4,200% over ten years, making Rogers a multimillionaire by age 37. After retiring early, he traveled around the world on a motorcycle. In the late 1990s, he embarked on a second around-the-world journey, this time with his wife, Paige Parker. From 1999 to 2002, the couple drove over 245,000 kilometers across 116 countries in a custom-built Mercedes convertible, setting another Guinness World Record. This journey became the basis for his bestselling book, Adventure Capitalist, in which he analyzed global economic conditions firsthand, highlighting opportunities in emerging markets and warning of looming financial imbalances.Rogers has written several other influential books, including Investment Biker, Hot Commodities, and Street Smarts.
