In episode #7, I'm excited to introduce Carissa Joy.
Carissa is the co-founder of an incredible company called “Post Joy”, which we’ll tell you all about in the second half of the episode. She is a badass event planner with two decades of experience. Her expertise in creating memorable events is unmatched, and it's been a passion of hers from an early age, when she would plan impromptu play-weddings for the neighborhood kids in her hometown of Rosenberg, Texas.
After earning her degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Southwest Texas State University, Carissa's career led her to work with Destination Management Companies. Eventually, she decided to pave her own way and founded CJoy Events, LLC, where her creativity and energy translated into unique, JOYous experiences.
Today, as the Chief Joy Officer at Forefront Networks as well as a program Leader for Landmark Worldwide, a global training and development company, she's known for bringing the MOST FUN to all of the people and projects she leads. You’ll get to hear all about the huge impact that can have as a leader!
Beyond her work, Carissa is deeply committed to her family and friends. Her drive and the passion she puts into everything she does.
