As promised, I give my thoughts on Jason Fry's novelization of The Last Jedi: some things it adds to the story, or (potentially) improves in our appreciation of the film, and adds to the canon as a whole. The novel also got me thinking of another Biblical parallel, which I get to at the end. I definitely recommend giving the novelization a read, not the least of which because 6 months later I still can't get enough of this incredible story!
