From setting up Smooth Accounting in April 2016 to becoming a social media sensation and a global name in accounting. BOOM!
Jeri shares her secret sauce for social media success. She started posting daily to attract clients and ended up working with some of the biggest firms around. Her advice? Make marketing your priority.
Because Jeri’s one-on-one coaching was in high demand she has now created The Accountants Wealth Academy, a thriving community where accountants and bookkeepers can get the support they need to scale their businesses.
We talk about pricing and the cost of living crisis and how it’s affecting pricing strategies. Her key takeaway? Build strong relationships with clients and communicate regularly. Raising prices won’t be a shock if your clients see the value you bring.
I also found out that Jeri hates managing people. In fact Jeri admits it’s not her strongest skill. Her top tip? Be brutally honest during the hiring process. Make sure new hires know what they’re signing up for, especially if your business is fast-paced and high-pressure.
