I spoke with the lovely Caroline Laurenson from TL Tech - Smart Home Solutions and we had a natter about her business and how they are using smart home technology to help the elderly to stay independent for longer.
Caroline Laurenson is the Managing Director of TL Tech, a smart home specialist based in Aberdeenshire. TL Tech supports people to maintain their independence in their own homes and are passionate about breaking down barriers to help people access technology and digital solutions.
In 2020, TL Tech branched out into developing voice applications for Amazon Alexa, including their award-winning app called Kindspace and a voice accessible community services directory called My Scottish Community. When she’s not working on growing the business, you’ll find Caroline singing, sewing and inspiring others into STEM careers.
She is also the creator of Kindspace, the holistic well-being voice app for Amazon Alexa and the Smart Meets Kind® movement
