I had the great pleasure of sitting down with author Marina Raydun and talking about her new release, Year One (which I had the honor of working with her on). Marina's fictionalized memoir, Year One, is about her first year in the United States after immigrating from what was the Soviet Union at 11 years old. We discuss her book, her experience being an immigrant kid, writing nonfiction, and inner child healing.
