Welcome to another episode of Reel Chums! This week we honor moms everywhere with the heartwarming movie Stepmom, directed by Chris Columbus and starring Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.
Stepmom tells the story of Jackie and Isabel, two women with very different personalities who are forced to come together for the sake of the children they both love. Jackie is the mother of two children, Anna and Ben, while Isabel is their father's new girlfriend. As the two women navigate their roles in the family, they learn to put aside their differences and work together to give the kids the best possible future.
We'll discuss the powerful performances by Sarandon and Roberts and the chemistry between the two leading ladies. We'll also dive into the themes of family, forgiveness, and grief.
