Description

Have you ever wondered if what you write really matters? And if you should you keep writing?

I know I have.

Today’s podcast guest, Brooke McGlothlin shares her story of questioning her qualifications and value as a writer. At the Declare Conference she will be encouraging attendees on the importance of Christian writers to keep writing.

As a godly woman & author of several books, I know we will learn a lot from Brooke’s experiences. If you’ve never heard her heart for mothering boys or for prayer, then you are in for a treat.

What we chat about:

* Brooke’s journey to starting the MOB Society (Mothers of Boys Society) with Erin Mohring.

* How Brooke has also partnered with Stacey Thacker (both gals met via blogging/social media).

* The blessing and curse of being an idea or why person (visionary) and then need to partner with a “how” person.

* Her session at Declare…encouraging us to keep writing, particularly when discouragement comes.

* Brooke’s own season of questioning, rejection and then stopping writing.

* Surrendering your plan with your writing and accepting God’s plan.

* 3 Questions writers often grapple with in the writing journey.

* How publishers may actually ask those questions.

* The way God made her publishing dreams came true. Not by her striving, but through God’s provision.

* Making your goal obedience and not success. Make His name great, not your own.
