Today, I’m speaking with Chantal. She speaks to me about her journey into motherhood while living in the Arab Gulf with her husband.
With her first birth, Chantal stayed at home for as long as possible before entering into their system. After having her waters opened without her consent, Chantal was told that her baby was in distress and a cesarean was needed.
She was wisked away to be prepped for a cesarean, but at the last minute and being 10cms, the doctors said Chantal could birth vaginally, but with an episiotomy and vacuum extraction.
Then following that birth, Chantal had 2 pregnancy releases and then her family moved to Morocco. This is where Chantal was guided to dig deeper into understanding what it was that her womb was trying to tell her and opened up a new path of menstrual and womb awakening knowledge.
In this time she birthed her second child in America at a birth centre, followed by another pregnancy release that coincided with the birth of her business.
Once Chantal got pregnant with her lsat child, she made the decision to not betray herself anymore when it came to her birth choices and she finally had the birth she wanted, free of the medical system.
