Today I’m talking with Daja. She speaks on her journey of a beautiful pregnancy experience in the height of 2020, which allowed her and her husband to turn inwards using their skills of yoga and the 8 limbs to create a sacred, connected and flowing journey. Daja then goes on to speak to the gifts of breath that she gave to her child through the practice of meditation which allowed her to create a space of ease and calmness when her daughter surprisingly emerged breech. I also want to mention, that this is the first breech birth story to be featured on the podcast and it’s so lovely that no one knew until Daja’s daughters bum started to emerge.
Daja credits the deep meditative and internal work that she did before and throughout her pregnancy journey to supporting her confidence and knowing that everything would be okay in her birth, even when her baby came into the world at 36 weeks.
This is an incredible story of how tapping into innate and internal wisdom can be the best guiding light when navigating a pregnancy that ends in a surprise breech at 36 weeks!
