Today I’m listening to Stella speak about the powerful journey to birthing her first baby.
Stella comes from a very Medically minded family, but chose to birth her first child free of the medical system with the trust and knowing that her body was capable of navigating this experience.
After learning that it’s totally possible to have a safe and uncomplicated pregnancy journey without engaging with the medical system, Stella chose hold her autonomy throughout this pregnancy and to listen deeply to her intuition.
When getting close to the very end stages of pregnancy, Stella’s body started practicing for her birth process with mild contractions on and off for about 2 weeks. But with the trust of her intuitive voice and knowing that she didn’t need to go into the hospital, Stella chose to surrender into what her body was preparing her for — the birth of her first child.
Stella birthed a 9lb baby in the comfort of her home with her partner, her 14year old step-daughter and her aunt present as witnesses to her transformation.
I can’t think of a better experience for a 14year old girl to have a front row seat to than a gentle, loving and safe birth, free of the medical system. Get comfy and listen to Stella’s words of her amazing pregnancy and birth experience.
