Description

About a month ago, our team started using FUB (Follow Up Boss). It's a CRM (Client Relationship Manager). If you remember, we did an episode cautioning against getting distracted by shiny objects a few months back. We already utilize Sierra as a CRM, so how does FUB not fall into the trap of shiny objects?

You shouldn't make changes just for the sake of making changes. There's something to be said about being a creature of habit, especially if what you're doing is working for you. But you also have to consistently raise the bar.

As we've talked about, when you're making a decision you have to ask yourself 3 questions: what's the upside, what's the downside, and can I live with the downside? We've been successful using Sierra, but we were missing metrics and data. It was ultimately hard to hold agents to specific standards because we couldn't actually track all the data we needed. Ultimately, we determined this was an absolute must for us, so we decided the transition to FUB was necessary.

Something to keep in mind. Make a change before it's needed. If you wait until change is needed, then you're already behind. Be vigilant in your business and what you need to do to keep up with the market or whatever industry you work in.
