Description

This episode is a deep dive into Damien Chazelle's period piece, Babylon. In this episode we'll explore the historical background & inspirations that led to its' creation, backdown the opening act, and discuss the themes within the characters' journeys.

Hey everybody, Welcome to another episode of 'The Curious Perspective', a podcast where we take a deep dive approach into storytelling that inspires us. Or we'll occasionally spend some time discussing entertainment related stories that we feel should be highlighted.

I started this podcast in hopes of exploring the themes within our storytelling, because I believe if we're able to better understand our stories, we could then better understand our everyday lives. Storytelling is unique to all humans and I want to share this passion of exploring those stories with you. This could range from reviewing the thematic themes within our movies such as Babylon, Everything Everywhere All At Once, sharing commentary on important news relating to cinematic universes, or something as specific as revisiting the moral arguments in a childhood show like "Avatar: The Last Airbender'.

I hope to continue to grow this podcast; this episode will be released along with 2 other episodes: one dedicated to exploring Ant-man & The Wasp ahead of 'Quantumania' & one recapping the announcements from DC.

My name is George Ramirez, thanks for considering a listen & Welcome to the show!
