The middleman, historically, has done more than just collect fees. They also provide and insurance the extra layer of trust required to facilitate transactions. Once we remove that from the equation, WE are the ones who have to make up that trust layer.
Our online reputation is going to be critical in this new world - regardless of what economy you choose to transact in. You have to be considering your reputation in every interaction you make online.
These mediums such as nostr, zap.stream, your personal website are all going to be the tools that people use to verify trust with you. Put this at the top of your mind as you navigate this new p2p economy. Reputation will be KEY!
