Summary: The original forkening effort was implemented to provide an onramp of sorts for coders, in keeping with our Code for Vegas origins, and Creators, who may have felt not-being coders was an issue. We have since reimagined that with our rename and some restructuring, now we need to be more obvious about our Foundation itself.
