In Peter's sermon on Pentecost Sunday he declared that God promised to graciously give His Holy Spirit to all who had faith in Christ. The kingdom of God is not an exclusive club, only available to a select few. The Holy Spirit promises to take up residence in each person who trusts in Jesus.
