Founded as en economic development initiative by the City of Los Angeles and The Department of Water and Power, LACI is creating an inclusive green economy for the people of Los Angeles by unlocking innovation. The Green Jobs Workforce Programs provides technical training, industry-recognized certifications, career coaching, case management, and job retention services to help underrepresented groups succeed in the green economy.
As a graduate of the program herself, Veronica discusses the importance of opportunity in the green economy and how LACI provides guidance, mentorship, and support during and after the program.
