Dr. Plax joins the podcast to share her experience with supporting disadvantaged youth during the pandemic and the many challenges that came with it. Whether it was dealing with the surge in patients in the SPOT clinic, isolation of children and adolescents in foster care, staff availability and burnout, or the closing of schools, Dr. Plax strongly advocated for children in the face of these adversities.
